Suzanne Orozco President and Chief Executive Officer
Suzanne’s tenure with Telamon-TRC spans more than three decades. Her experience within the organization’s three lines of business is comprehensive, having served many different roles in the field in Head Start and workforce programs. Suzanne is committed to the ongoing professional development of her staff, and to building capacity at all levels of the organization. With an undergraduate degree and a Masters of Social Work from Michigan State University, she is bilingual and has a strong background in program and policy development, research, and program administration. Recognized as a visionary leader, Suzanne oversees the strategic management of the entire corporation’s operations in eleven states, and serves as ex-officio member of the Telamon-TRC Governing Board.
Patti Kingery, M.S. Vice President, Early Childhood and Family Support
Patti is a seasoned professional who drives the early childhood and family support services strategy for the organization. With more than 20 years of experience as a home visitor, family advocate, program manager, and senior leader, Patti uses her expertise in program operations and leadership to identify innovative ways to improve program services and outcomes for young families. Patti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Marywood University; a Master of Science degree in Child Development from the Erikson Institute in Chicago, Illinois; and post graduate certifications in Project Management and Executive Management Development from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago. She completed the Head Start Management Fellows program at UCLA’s John E. Anderson School of Management in 2006. Patti has served on multiple advisory groups and Boards of Directors at the local, state, and national level.

Susan Oney Vice President, Workforce and Career Services
Susan comes to Telamon with ten years of experience where she worked to implement new programs and improve performance in existing programs throughout a multi-state footprint. She is well-versed in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), has a Bachelors in Sociology, carries a Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) certificate, and a Master’s in Education Training and Project Management. Susan uses a coaching and collaborative approach and is proud to support a mission where she can help build out successful systems. Susan will continue her education working toward a PhD in Workforce and Adult Education at NC State University.
Andy Pederson Senior Vice President, Information Technology
Andy joins Telamon with more than 17 years of experience in the field of information technology and a background in the non-profit sector. He received a Master of Business Administration from Franklin Pierce University in 2017. During his career, Andy has engineered several important changes to IT including substantial upgrades to infrastructure, cyber security, and advances in the usage of technology throughout organizations. Andy’s expertise yields IT initiatives that align with Telamon’s strategic plan, organizational culture, and long-term goals. Working across multiple areas of focus, Andy delivers technological solutions that support superior delivery of services including enterprise architecture and data, supporting enterprise applications, user support, communications, and information security.
Tim Poppema Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications
Tim is a Change Management and Communication Professional who before Telamon had spent 25+ years working primarily with the Big 4 Consulting firms on numerous engagements within the Federal, State, Corporate, and not-for-profit sectors. He brings a diverse and varied background to Telamon with proven expertise in strategic communications, organizational development, executive coaching, and all facets of organizational change management. In addition to various change management certifications, Tim also holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College where he completed a double major in Government/Legal Studies and History. Over the years, he has also provided significant personal time in assisting and working with various non-profit organizations in support of their various efforts.
Lindsey Stutzman-Deaner, M.S. Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Lindsey brings a diverse professional experience to the Telamon Leadership team ranging from business management, financial operations, and HR leadership. She is passionate about the professional development of others as well as strategically aligning our organization for expanded growth and success. Lindsey is a proven leader in a variety of roles ranging from her professional interests to coaching high school sports. This diverse leadership experience has provided her with the exposure and ability to be adaptable in many situations with a variety of different people. Lindsey received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from California University of Pennsylvania while also playing collegiate soccer. She received certification in Human Resources Management, Trauma Informed Care and Diversity Training, and she is also a member of SHRM. Lindsey’s passion for people and drive for success stems from growing up in a family funeral business where she also earned an associate degree and is a licensed funeral director. When Lindsey is not working, she enjoys spending time with her wife and two kids and playing golf.
Michael Vazquez, CPA Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
A top-notch finance and accounting professional, Michael Vazquez has a track record of success in federal grant management and managing multiple streams of revenue. In his former position with the Friends of the NC Museum of Natural Sciences and the Foundation for Nursing Excellence (both in Raleigh, NC), Michael played a pivotal role in building assets, improving internal processes, and streamlining operations. Michael attained both his bachelor’s and Master of Science degrees in Accounting from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. A Certified Public Accountant, Michael is also a Certified Management Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
