Transition Resources Corporation To Provide Early Head Start Services in Madison County

ANDERSON, Ind. - Transition Resources Corporation (TRC) was awarded a grant to provide Early Head Start services to 101 infants, toddlers and expectant mothers in Madison County as the result of a competitive grant process determined by the Office of Head Start. TRC will take over operations July 1, 2014.
A plan is in place to transition children and families currently receiving Early Head Start services. A letter will be sent this week to all families about continued participation in the program.

TRC currently provides Head Start services to 267 preschool children in Madison County and 274 preschool children in Delaware County. An additional 48 infants, toddlers, and expectant mothers in Delaware County receive Early Head Start services.
Transition Resources Corporation is the Indiana division of Telamon Corporation, a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Raleigh, North Carolina. The organization provides services to individuals and communities in eleven states and has operated successful Head Start programs since 1981.
